Absolutely disappointed with our a super sub sandwich. Did not recieve all the meat required bcuz family of 7 came in b4 us i assumed.Not going to our fav sub shop for a while if ever. Been going there for years.#shortonmeat

Always a great place to go, my favorite sub is the "super sub" it's delicious, rhe bread they have is unique. They also have Chinese food, my husband gets it from time to time but aI am faithful to the subs. Bring cash, cash only.

First time to eat there since I was just out of college and they were on S. Highland. Tried the chicken sub today. It was fried pieces, good but I will go back to my favorite, the turkey sub next time. Very friendly staff and quick kitchen folks.

The sandwiches here are great. Super flavorful. Great bread. Great tea. Same lady is making sandwiches that has been making them since they were on highland avenue. Ignore the Chinese menu and get a sandwich.

The best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. The subs here are unlike any other. My parents have been eating here since they were in college and I’ve been going since a kid. The bread is out of this world.

Been going to this place since I was about 7 or 8 years old. It has the best sandwiches and egg rolls. The staff are nice and they have not changed their sandwiches the bread on the sandwiches is awesome. If your ever in Memphis tn. I would recommend trying this place out.

Great subs

Just had my first eating experience and I had their Super Sub. I was absolutely delicious. I have to say this is going to be my favorite sub shop to eat at because they have great prices. And I imagine that all of their subs are equally good. I had the soft bread which was toasted and it was amazing. I haven't tried the hard version and I imagine I'm going to have great difficulty taking a chance when the soft bread was so delicious.

Pastrami on hard bread is bomb (sweet heat chips on zee side). Chinese food is def worth trying too. Cash only is lame but worth the atm fees

I enjoyed it very much. It was very clean. They were very friendly. Their service was very quick. The food was very good. Their bread for their sandwiches very soft.. .yet crispy exterior with great consistency to it. Best of all the lunch combo is very cheap. This is a definate goto place for a quick tastey lunch.

The best sandwiches ever. Been going to this establishment 10 plus years. Excellent service. Always ready in minutes no matter how many people are there. Cash only is a little inconvenient. But still love this place.

This place has been amazing for so many years! Fondly called "The Chinese Sub Shop" by locals, the sandwiches and the egg rolls are to die for! The sweet bread and and sub you choose will never disappoint. Be sure to bring cash, though. No cards.

Love the bread. The sauce used to have better flavor. Its too watered down now. Tomatoes super thin, meat pretty flavorless.

Love this place! I miss when it used to be on Highland, but I haven't spent enough time at the newer location yet. Sandwiches are super yummy! Selection is wonderful! They even have corned beef, one of my favorite meats! I have to buy corned beef and chicken every time, so I don't have to decide between them!💚

The food is still pretty good. However, I was a little disappointed with the amount of meat and toppings on the sandwich. Seems like they are putting less and less on the sandwiches over the years.

These are the best Sub Sandwiches in the city. Do not let the appearance fool you, this hole-in-the-wall sandwhich and Chinese restaurant makes the best bread in the city. Remember these two things and you'll be set, they're Cash Only and you want Soft Bread.

Found this shop in another location 30 yrs ago !!! Loved thier ham subs then. Have been eating them ever sence ! Both of my boys grew up eating there. They loved the pickles as babies haha. Always been the same owners , excellent people. Everything is still the same even after the move. Love this place !!!!

We love this Memphis stable enough that we now drive from Olive Branch, MS to pick them up. These are the best subs you'll ever have. Cash only though.

Always a good choice

One of the best places to go for submarine sandwiches. Their prices are pretty low considering how good they are. You can get the 12 inch super sub with 4 different kinds of meat for 8 bucks and all subs come with a bag of chips. They've been around for decades. They used to be located at Highland and Southern but they had to move several years ago. Luckily the prices and quality didn't change a bit. The only downside is they are still a cash only place with no ATM. Other than that I highly recommend them.

If you want a sandwich in Memphis, there are only 2 place you should go. This is one of them. Best staff. I've been going there since I was a kid. I've never once been disappointed. <3

The pastrami sandwich is amazing! Get it on the sweet bread exactly how it comes and it won't disappoint! I don't even eat pastrami and I crave this sandwich! The staff is friendly and it is a classic in Memphis. Definitely a hole in the wall gem!
